SPECIFICATIONS FOR OUT-OF-TERRITORY TEXT LISTINGS

If you are only submitting a text listing (i.e., you are not submitting a display ad), and your resource is based outside MD, DC, or VA, a $20 donation is required before your text listing will be published.

To submit such a listing, complete the submission form, and then make your donation by visiting our online donation form or by sending a check or money order to: The Open Hearth Foundation, Inc. 9078 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, MD 20740. All donations and text listings must be received by August 30.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR DISPLAY ADS

Display ads must be submitted electronically as an email attachment in either GIF or JPG formats to shea@openhearth.org. Note that hardcopy graphics cannot be accepted.

Ads must arrive fully formatted with no additional editing required. Half-page ads are 285 pixels wide by 660 pixels tall; or 570 pixels wide by 330 pixels tall. Full-page ads are 570 pixels wide by 660 pixels tall. A resolution of 200 dpi or higher is recommended.

Ads will appear with a slightly smaller aspect-ratio when incorporated into the Guide. For this reason it is recommended your text be kept large and easily legible even in smaller resolutions.

The Guide is a black-and-white publication with only modest gray-scale capability. While we encourage the use of easily-rendered graphics, photography and very fine detail images should be avoided.

SUBMITTING AND PAYING FOR ADS

All ad graphics and ad donations must arrive before August 30. To submit your ad graphic, please write: shea@openhearth.org. To make your ad donation, please submit a gift matching your chosen ad size by visiting our online donation form or by sending a check or money order to: The Open Hearth Foundation, Inc. 9078 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, MD 20740.

Please note that the receipt of a donation will not guarantee the placement of an ad or text mention if it falls outside the OHF editorial guidelines; and that all ad donations are considered non-refundable.

We also encourage all advertisers to submit a text listing if they have not done so already. Text listings (in addition to a paid ad) are free, and offered to all qualified advertisers regardless of location.
