Charles Butler will be reading from an original novella, Sparrow of Jerusalem, which explores the Roman world from the eyes of Princess Salome of Galilee, Queen of Cilicia, who danced for the head of John the Baptist. She lived in the world of Roman, Greek, Phoenician, Syrian, and Egyptian beliefs, and this novel explores them all.
