Fires, significant open flames, alcohol, firearms, illegal drugs, edged or pointed ritual tools are prohibited.

Participants that choose not to take part in an activity are to avoid disturbing those who are; and all activities must remain appropriate for a general and mixed audience.

Carved pumpkins, contained candles, and any other item carrying even a slight chance of staining the cement apron surrounding the Memorial must be placed on top of a plate, cloth, or other divider.

No amplified sound, performance, temporary structure, display, sign, banner, brochure, flyer, or structured group activity may take place or appear unless previously approved by the On-Site Coordinator.

No good or service may be offered or advertised for commercial sale, pets and familiars (except service animals) should be left at home, and trash should always be thrown away in appropriate containers.

Photography should only be taken with the permission of the subject. All journalists and photographers are asked to register with the On-Site Coordinator.

All other rules of the United States National Park Service are expressly incorporated in these Event Guidelines.
